AutoRepair is the direct answer: get in range of a workbench and your equipment repairs itself automatically, with options for which stations trigger it. It removes a repetitive click that adds up over a long session.
It pairs naturally with Recycle_N_Reclaim, which breaks down items to return their build materials — so between the two you stop wasting metal on mis-crafts and stop babysitting durability.
Watch the config on the recycling side; a return rate that's too generous can undercut the game's resource economy. Auto-repair itself is low-impact and safe for most playthroughs.
