    Mods are built per game, so pick yours first. Every game above is searchable.

  2. Describe the change

    Write it the way you'd say it out loud. "Keep my loot when I die" works better than the word "death".

  3. Get matching mods

    Ask for four things at once and you get four sets of answers, each with what it changes and whether the author still maintains it.

Why not just search the mod site?

Mod repositories match names and tags. That's fine once you know the mod is called AzuExtendedPlayerInventory — useless when all you know is that you want more backpack slots. ModGenie starts from the outcome you described and checks it against mods that actually exist, so you never have to guess the author's naming choices.

A finder, not a mod manager

ModGenie helps you decide what to install. Installing is still the job of r2modman, Gale or the Thunderstore app. For Valheim, ModGenie can also hand you a modpack code that those managers import in one step.

Where the mods come from

Every mod listed here is a real package on Thunderstore. The catalog is rechecked nightly, so download counts and last-updated dates match the source, and anything the author has deprecated is labelled before you install it.
