The details
The typical feature set is a pickup radius (items within range are collected automatically) plus a filter list so you can ignore low-value clutter like stone or wood once you have enough.
This pairs especially well after combat and while mining, where dozens of drops otherwise mean dozens of manual grabs. It's one of the most popular quality-of-life categories.
If you're picky, look for a version with a hotkey toggle so you can switch auto-pickup off in situations where you don't want to sweep everything (like sorting a base).
