Wandering Zombies
Moves zombies that already exist. The author says it does not spawn new ones.
Wandering Zombies moves zombies that are already in the world. The author says it supports B42 multiplayer, the timing can be configured, and it does not spawn new zombies. Turning respawn off in the sandbox is not this. Respawn creates new zombies. Migration moves existing ones.

A different horde item. Do not assume it only moves existing zombies.
Big Chiefs Dynamic Hordes Ultimate Survival is a different Workshop item. Do not read it as "the same mod, but louder." Check that page for whether it creates groups. A scheduled attack on your base is a third request. Describe that in the search box instead of using this page's answer.
| Option | What it does | What it is not | Author note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wandering Zombies | Sends existing zombies through the world on a timer you can change | A switch that creates new zombies, or a nightly raid event | Author states B42 multiplayer and no new spawns. Not a playtest of your server. |
| Big Chiefs Dynamic Hordes | A separate horde mod | A renamed Wandering Zombies | Read its page before you assume it only moves zombies that already exist. |
| Sandbox respawn | Population settings already in the game | A substitute for migration | Off means cleared cells are not refilled by respawn. Zombies can still walk in. |
If the town goes quiet and you want pressure from outside, start with Wandering Zombies and the sandbox respawn setting side by side. Add the other horde mod only after you know you want whatever that page actually does.
The Build 42 overview does not pick a horde mod. Use the search above if you need a nightly attack rather than migration.
Because zombies already on the map can walk into a cleared area. Respawn and migration are different. Wandering Zombies is about the walking, and the author says it does not spawn new zombies.
That is not what the author describes. It moves existing zombies and lets you set how often. A mod that drops a new group on your base is a different design.
No. It is a different Workshop item. Use it only after its page matches the kind of horde you want.
The author states B42 multiplayer for Wandering Zombies. How heavy a given frequency feels on your server is something you have to try. This page has not measured that.
