What this mod actually does

Spearfishing enables active fish capture with projectile weapons including spears, harpoons, and bows, and automatically collects harpooned fish when space permits.

Best for

It is ideal for players who want fishing to reward aiming and weapon use instead of relying exclusively on the rod-and-bait interaction.

Setup and configuration

Install it on participating clients and choose which projectile categories are enabled; server installation is only needed for synchronized configuration.

Before you install

This changes how players actively catch existing fish and does not generate fish or passively produce resources, so normal fish availability still matters.
